DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & OPERATIONS

DUTIES

Reporting directly to Executive Director, the Director of Finance & Operations is responsible for financial management, cash management, reporting and forecasting, payroll, information systems and processes, finance staff supervision and facilities management. The successful candidate will develop and supervise the accounting and budgeting functions, including internal and external financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Will apprise internal management and Board of financial position, risks and opportunities; develop, update and implement policies and procedures; and coordinate and assist in all audits. Will provide leadership in information technology and ensure efficient use of organizational systems, updated SOP's and routine data maintenance. Will oversee additional operational responsibilities including but not limited to human resources and risk management and will oversee office administration.

QUALIFICATIONS, SALARY & BENEFITS

Candidates should be enthusiastic team players who are adept at managing and motivating people. They should have a Bachelors degree in accounting, at least 5 years accounting and operations experience with non-profit organizations, excellent organizational skills, proficiency in appropriate softwares, including Microsoft Excel & Quickbooks, and experience working within a finance department. MBA or CPA desirable. Salary and benefits competitive, and commensurate with experience.
