We have a very exciting concert planned for you!

First, can you imagine singing a song with 2000 of your friends? That's what you're going to do at the RI Philharmonic concert! Your teacher will teach you a round (music on the teachers page) and the whole auditorium full of people will sing it together! WOW!

We also are featuring two students who have auditioned for the privilege of playing for you. They are amazing!

On May 7th, Alanna Tonetti Tieppo will play the Sibelius Violin Concerto in D minor, 1st movement

On May 8th, Daisy Joo will play the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, 1st movement

Next, the Orchestra will perform pieces of music that are inspired by stories. You must know at least one of these stories, but some will be new to you. Note: to view the YouTube videos, you must have an active Internet connection. "The Ride of the Valkyries" and "In the Hall of the Mountain King" are also available as part of the Rhapsody Music Service (PC only). You can listen to up to 25 free downloads per month. Link to the service here (Internet connection required) .
