Branch Coordinator - Part Time - Evenings/Saturdays

Non-Exempt, 24 hours per week

  • Mondays through Thursdays- 5pm to 9pm
  • Fridays - Off
  • Saturdays - 8:30am to 5pm
  • Additional/Flex hours as needed

Essential Qualifications:

  • Highly dependable and reliable.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.
  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience and high school diploma required.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

The Branch Coordinator provides excellent customer service in support of our goals for our community music school. The primary responsibility of the Branch Coordinator is to oversee general operations of the branch reception area. The reception area is the first point of contact for students, faculty, parents and community entering the music school facility. The Branch Coordinator welcomes our guests, provides quality customer service and facilitates the business needs of the RI Philharmonic Music School. The ideal Branch Coordinator is highly dependable, a bilingual Spanish/English speaker, a strong communicator with excellent customer service and organization skills. The Branch Coordinator is fluent in all programs, familiar with all faculty members and their specializations, and over time, builds connections with all students, families and members of the Music School community. The Branch Coordinator is a integral member of a dynamic and supportive education team and faculty that is dedicated to creating great musical experiences and providing excellent educational programming. We pride ourselves on doing everything possible to ensure our student musicians can take advantage of all our school has to offer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, quality service and an excellent experience to our customers.
  • Serves as a branch receptionist during coverage hours - transfer calls/take messages/answer questions/return calls.
  • Check in desk for teachers.
  • Accepts and processes tuition payments made at the front desk, answers billing questions and prints out information as needed for customers.
  • Registers students and updates student contact information.
  • Document piano tuning needs and other equipment/room issues.
  • Relays student cancellations/absences messages to faculty.
  • Perform opening and closing duties for facility.
  • Provide support for faculty (make copies of administrative documents, distribute mail, etc.)
