Music for All
The Community Campaign
You are invited!
Who? The entire community of music lovers
What and Why? To help us raise the remaining $2,000,000 to reach our goal of $7,000,000. The primary goal of the campaign has been to fund the first and only permanent home for music education and performance in Rhode Island. The results have been extraordinary! As you know, the Carter Center for Music Education & Performance provides the best rehearsal spaces, classrooms and performance halls with a professional faculty who provide our children the best music education available.
The original donors, with the vision for our new facility, raised over $5,000,000 to get this immense project off the ground. These funds allowed us to begin construction and to secure the loans necessary to get the Carter Center for Music Education & Performance started.
With the first phase behind us, WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SEE THIS CAMPAIGN THROUGH TO ITS COMPLETION. We have "covenants" (agreements with the banks for our loans) to re-pay within a certain period of time. We can’t do that without the help of our community.
How Can I Help?
1. Make your pledge (get the whole family involved, and encourage others in the community to do so as
well!)
2. Volunteer to help us on the campaign (make thank you calls, information calls; help us keep our
materials up to date, staff tables with campaign information, and more.
3. Help us get the word out about the Philharmonic Music School and the fabulous Carter Center.
Where?
You can bring your pledge here to the Carter Center (667 Waterman Avenue East Providence, RI 02914), mail in the pledge form (click here), call us with a credit card number, or click here to donate on-line.
